Why HowToMakeSangria.net?
Because every sangria recipe online is either a three-sentence afterthought on a cooking blog or an overcomplicated chef's version that requires ingredients nobody has. We wanted one dedicated resource that covers everything β from the classic Spanish recipe to party planning for 50 people β written by people who actually make sangria regularly and care about getting it right.
Our Philosophy
- Sangria should be simple. Five minutes of active work, a few hours of patience, and you have something magical. We don't complicate it.
- Good wine, not expensive wine. A Β£5 bottle of Tempranillo makes better sangria than a Β£20 bottle. We'll always steer you toward value.
- Time is the secret ingredient. Every recipe on this site emphasises chilling time because it's the single most important factor in great sangria.
- Tested, not theoretical. Every recipe and tip on this site has been made, tasted, and served to real people. If it doesn't work, it doesn't make it onto the site.
What You'll Find Here
- Classic Red Sangria β The traditional Spanish recipe, done properly

A Note on Drinking
Sangria is delicious, social, and fun. It's also alcoholic. We encourage responsible enjoyment. Always have non-alcoholic options available for guests who don't drink, never pressure anyone, and please don't drive after drinking. The best sangria is the kind shared with good people in good spirits.
